Performance with symphony of Hermann Nitsch

01.09.2018, 6pm

Symphony for large orchestra
Brass band, choir + performance

In honour of the 80th birthday of Hermann Nitsch, the nitsch museum is inviting the artist to produce one of his world-famous and controversial performances for the first time in his own museum. The essence of his complete oeuvre is presented for real and in a way that enables visitors to experience it intensively and directly with all their senses. On the occasion of his 80th birthday, Hermann Nitsch has created a symphony which is connected with a performance and must be understood as an introduction to the 6-day play. Andrea Cusumano is conducting the symphony with the Klangvereinigung Wien orchestra from Vienna, the Mistelbach town band, the con cor choir from Mistelbach and the Asparn an der Zaya Music and Choral Society.
After the symphonic performance we will be celebrating together at Hermann Nitsch’s birthday party.

On account of the limited number of participants, it is essential to register for the event by 25th August 2018 at .
