Eröffnung der Ausstellung "Jorn - Nitsch"

Jorn - Nitsch is the first exhibition in the nitsch museum at which Hermann Nitsch’s artistic work is juxtaposed with that of a second artist. Asger Jorn (1914 Vejrum – Aarhus 1973, Denmark) stands alongside Karel Appel and Pierre Alechinsky as one of the best-known protagonists of the CoBrA Group, one of the leading avantgarde movements in post-war Europe, which advocated originality and the freedom of art. At the same time, a solo exhibition of works by Hermann Nitsch will be held at the Museum Jorn in Silkeborg.
